As much as I am not a fan of these drugs being illegal, that was not this Dr’s call to make.
If the patient had been in New York in person, the drugs had been prescribed, paid for, and received in New York…… then the Dr would have done nothing wrong.
But tele-prescribing them, and shipping them to a state where they were illegal is a violation of the law.
This can tie in to firearms, illegal drugs, and other products that may be illegal in one place and legal in another.

lol.Doesnt matter. is in NY where the medicine was prescribed.
dont you know how telemedicine works.

Types of care you might get via telemedicine include:
Results of lab tests or X-rays
Managing a mental health condition
Dealing with a recurring problem like migraines or a urinary tract infection
Urgent care issues like a cough, cold, or stomachache
Managing prescriptions
see bottom one.

Well, lets add that the pills were prescribed and mailed to the mother who then gave them to her daughter.
Since when are libs OK with that kind of work around in regards to prescription drugs? Can we do that with all prescription drugs?

So, are you, or are you not, in favor of the patent making medical decisions for the children? You can’t have it both ways.

You think parents should be able to prescribe drugs for their children?

I think it’s more the doctor should be prescribing the patient, not some third party straw patient.

Shouldn’t NY doctors simply respect LA laws when dealing with that state?
Or does that only work sometimes?

Hmmm…that puts the mom in more jeopardy than the out of state doctor. I can’t read the article. Did she get charged too?
