New Pew poll: Most Americans have unfavorable view of Israel

Make sure to put that as part of the poll question.

“What is your view on Israel, knowing everything is Hamas’ fault?”

They seem to forget the Hamas massacre of Israelis Oct 7th.

Even slaughtering babies.

That started the current brew ha ha.

Hamas are definately not “good guys” as libs like to think.

“What is your view on Israel, knowing everything is Hamas’ fault due to their slaughter of Israelis on Oct 7 2023?”

I’m simply making an observation. When Israel attacks a church, one must ask why Hamas would choose to embed themselves in a house of worship. What kind of animal would do such a thing?

Conservatives already know the answer to that question, but liberals seem to be clueless.

And there’s this reprehensible person - Daniella Weiss - who is openly calling for ethnic cleansing and deportation of Palestinians in Gaza. Can someone explain in a rational way why “Never again” only works in favor of Israel and does not condemn this?

As of now, Israel is saying it was a mistake that the church was hit, not that it was embedded with Hamas.

The Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem, which has jurisdiction for Latin-rite Catholics in Gaza, said the Holy Family Church was struck by Israel on Thursday morning. The church has become a shelter for the enclave’s tiny Christian community amid the 20-month war.

The office of Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that “Israel deeply regrets that a stray ammunition hit Gaza’s Holy Family Church. Every innocent life lost is a tragedy.”

“Israel is investigating the incident and remains committed to protecting civilians and holy sites,” the office added in a statement.

It looks like it wasn’t targeted at all but was hit by stray ammunition.

I stand by my Hamas statement. If Hamas would simply disarm, the conflict would be over and there would be no more civilian casualties.

If the IDF would simply disarm, the conflict would be over . . .

Actually if the IDF would simply leave Gaza and allow relief supplies to enter, the famine would be over.

There wouldn’t even have been a conflict except for the Hamas slaughter of Israeli’s on that oct 7th.

Hamas supporters seem to keep forgetting that.

Conveniently.

Nonsense. Relief for HAMAS … and rearming … would take place before one starving child (who’s father was not a member of HAMAS) would continue to starve until the elite were sated.

If Israel were to disarm, they would quickly be overwhelmed and wiped out.

If the IDF were to leave Gaza before completing the task of eliminating Hamas, Hamas would quickly begin rearming and they would once again pose a threat to Israel. Any humanitarian relief would be under Hamas terms. They would get the bulk of the relief and Palestinians would get what was left.

That you would even suggest Israel disarm, simply demonstrates how much you hate them.

That you would suggest that Palestinians disarm while Israelis continue to starve and shoot civilians in Gaza shows how much you hate Palestinians.

The Germans found that forcing soldiers to kill civilians was damaging to morale. Similar things are going on with the IDF today.

I side with the countries who don’t try to kill Americans. Liberals do the opposite.

Yes it is a myth that all the Palestinian Arabs left willingly. The newly formed IDF expelled a ton of them, both without orders and orders that went all the way to the minister of defense.

But it was a war that the Arab population started and they lost. When you lose a war, especially one with a genocidal character that you started, there tend to be consequences for that loss. You had better win.

It is Russia who trained him, he’s just applying that training to this situation.

Israel is a creation of London. The British government promises land that they did not control to both Jewish Zionists and Arab nationalists as part of the effort against the Ottoman Empire in WW1. Once WW1 was over, the British took control over Mandatory Palestine and encouraged more Jewish settlers. The purpose was to provide a base of operations in the Middle East and to protect the Suez Canal.

The forever wars in the Middle East are not an accident. Divide and conquer is how a remote island nation gained control over the Indian subcontinent with more than 10 times the population. The US has been following the same policy.

The thing that I try to wrap my head around is how so many Christians give unquestioning support to a state was founded by atheists . . .

Since I invoke Torah so often, let me state that I don’t personally believe in the God it postulates … I am not religious, nor were the majority of the early builders of Israel believers. Yet their passion for this land stemmed from the Book of Books … [The Bible is] the single most important book in my life.–David Ben-Gurion, first Israeli prime minister

Pope is on it.
