Though it had major support from movie critics and the mainstream media, the public is continuing to reject Michael Moore’s new anti-Trump documentary “Fahrenheit 11/9,” a movie that reportedly compares President Donald Trump to Adolf Hitler.
In its second weekend in theaters, the film averaged a paltry $652 per theater — and it has fallen out of the top ten at the box office.
Its estimated earnings for its second weekend in cinemas is only $1.1 million, which brings its grand total to only $5.2 million.
So when is Michael Moore moving to Canada?
The much publicized Murphy Brown revival didn’t do so great either, with only 7.4 million viewers. Even Hillary couldn’t save the show, but considering she also lost to Donald Trump, it’s not really a surprise.

I saw the $5.2 million number. I also found one article that states unconfirmed estimates for costs are $4 million to produce and $10 million to market it. So it needs to make another $8.8 million to break even. Who’s paying for this?
I’ve also read a lot of disparate explanations of why it flopped. Fatigue, 24 hour news cycle, the message was already out, the internet. The one thing not suggested… President Trump is more popular with the population than polls or pundits would have you believe.
