I follow the contours of your posts.
Maybe sit this out. Or not.
Have a great ThanksgivingâŠhope you are surrounded by your loved ones!
6 billion in the mail to Micron.
That crazy Donald Trump.
He has the crazy idea thatthe private sector wants to invest billions and billions of dollars all on its own to do these same things and all the government has to do is get smaller and get out ofthe way.
(He has no respect at all for central planners dictating what money should be spent where and when and for what.)
Of their money? Or mine?
Is this one of the grants?
Anyone recall these grants?
During the first presidential debate, Mitt Romney said âabout halfâ of the companies funded by Obamaâs administration went bankrupt. That is true â for just the first two years of the program that supported Solyndra, which the campaign later clarified. . . .But a spokesman for the Energy Department said that agency has dozens of programs that funded over 1,300 companies in the renewable energy space, and that less than 1% have gone bankrupt â also true. . . .
Oh man do i remember. Solera is the first word i remember when i read your post. It was cringe and worse was a waste of good tax payers money.
Well, the only reason they went bankrupt, ya see, is because we didnât give them enough money. (wink)
I wonder how that would interact with the Mammoth solar project or the other energy projects in this thread
What about the Bill Gates natrium plant?
Does the trump administration expedite the permitting process in those situations?
I would love it if the government significantly shortened the amount of time infrastructure projects have to spend considering such feedback.
Biden needs to stop pissing our money awayâŠ
Look at what a good job his group of losers has done on rural broadband.
I admit I donât understand all of this butâŠ
HeadlineâŠâ The $42 billion internet program that has connected 0 peopleâ
â In 2021, the Biden Administration passed the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, which included a provision to give $42.5 billion to the Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) program to provide under-served and rural areas with internet access. To date, it has connected nobody.
The plan required U.S. states and territories to submit plans for investment and deployment by the end of 2023, which all have done. Expected roll out wonât occur until 2026 by most optimistic deadlines. Itâs better than nothing, right? Maybe not.
When you look at the timeline and trajectory of internet access across the United States, we begin to see the problem. In the years between 2021 and 2023 (when the BEAD funding was granted and the deadline for state roll out plan submissions) internet access grew from 80% to 83% for U.S. households. These gains largely came from new additions to areas that historically have not had access or where costs used to be prohibitive. With 13 million users added to networks in that timeframe, we can already see incredible movement in solving low access areas before a single dollar of the federal program has been used. By 2026, the additional investment private networks are making, as well as the flexibility in diverse types of network access, should increase internet access even more, just when the state and territory deployments are supposed to take effect.â The $42 billion internet program that has connected 0 people » Publications » Washington Policy Center
Biden should do what heâs good atâŠgood fumble around with folding chairs and ice cream on the beach and leave the rest of us alone.
The money he gave to Iran is borderline treasonous isnât it???
Giving 10 billion to an enemy??
An enemy that sponsors terrorists in the middle east at that.
Borderline treason imo.
More money Iran has to sponsor terrorism against people like Israel.
And US military personnel in Iraq, Syria and Jordan?
That was 3 plus years ago. Big question: Where is $42.5 billion of the taxpayers money right now?
Who is keeping accounting and when can we see the books?
The individual who started this thread believes this administration should give away as much as it can before it leaves town.
I could not disagree more.
We just had an electionâŠcommon sense won. Itâs money we donât have. Yes giving a nickel to Iran is stupidityâŠ.biden taking the leash off Iran led to the October 2023 terror attacks by Hamas and that warâŠthat sorry excuse for a POTUS has gotten tens of thousands of people killed. I think he should have been impeached over the invasion of our country he facilitated along the southern border. Now I just want him gone. January 20 cannot get here soon enough.
How many EV chargers have been built from that programâŠjust a handful I rememberâŠbillions for rural internet that has connected no one?
Just go away JoeâŠ.your failed presidency has done enough damage.

No one and never???
January 30 cannot get here soon enough.
Actually January 20th. Please, another 10 days and the Dimwits might do further damage.

Typo fixed fat thumbs
Personally I think the best thing would be for Joe and Kommie to resign. Theyâve pretty obviously checked out anyway.
