New Bipartisan immigration bill

Why? Why do you care? What impact does it have on you?

It doesn’t have to directly impact me for me to care.

But why? I don’t get the why.

If you have never been mugged on an NY subway
you are still allowed to be upset about subway muggings,
still allowed to hate the muggers,
and
if any if any subhuman piece of filth were actually despicable enough to set up a business paying people to commit crimes, your are free to hate him as well.

But why would you be “upset”?

I dunno, same reason peole get upset about subway muggings and school shootings.

For some crazy reason normal human beings
find those things are upsetting even when they don’t directly affect us.

(9-11 bothered me too and I have never worked in a tall office building. Go figure.)

There’s a big difference though. Improper entry by an alien is a victimless crime.

All the other crimes you tried to compare it to are not, they have victims.

The entry is victimless.

Working illegally is not
neither is slopping at the hog trough.
Neither is crushing honest businemen by engagnig in illegal employment practices.

Irony is lost on you.

Glad we could agree.

Everything that comes after that does not require improper entry. Do Indians work for less than white programmers?

So you want open borders?

Actually the illegal entry isn’t victimless, it is a crime against the citizenry as a whole, rather than a crime against individuals and property.

Your emotions have you holding hands with Godwin’s Law.

Oh no! Close the border. Build the barricade.

It is victimless.

I get emotional about Fascism Road. And I won’t apologize for it.

It is no more victimless than espionage, it is a violation of the nations borders and sovereignty. You have an emotional connection, so you want to ignore it for that connection. .

No, it’s a victimless crime. You don’t get to claim the collective.

Some crimes are against the collective, it comes with the border, the flag and citizenship. Just because you don’t like to acknowledge the victim doesn’t erase the crime.

There is no victim.
