Nationalism, Populism, Nationalizing and Socialism

Sure. Is it nationalization?

Then what is it?

I don’t live in Norway.

My property taxes aren’t low. Did you read that article?

Am I? What Alaska or California does has no bearing on me. You want to provide free healthcare for the citizens of your state, knock yourself out.

Are you libs advocating for states’ rights?

When it’s done right? We can’t even hold goverment officials accountable as it is. Besides the profit would be used to control the masses.

Answers?

Your question was answered as to whether “the profits always go to the government”.

That was all I was discussing.

And the answer is yes. In the case of Alaska Permanent Fund some of it is trickled down due to an amendment in the state constitution.

I’m not sure why you think this disproves anything I said.

So Alaska has a program, good. What else?

How did that amendment get passed?

Do the people get some of the profits or don’t they?

Votes.

Yes.

What else?

Let’s look at the results?

No effect on employment, and increased part-time work by 1.8%

Watson, Brett; Guettabi, Mouhcine; Reimer, Matthew (April 5, 2019). “Universal Cash and Crime”. The Review of Economics and Statistics : 1–45

14% increase in substance abuse the day after. Less property crime probably.

Wasn’t libs complaining about the abuse and corruption with that program 10 years ago…when Palin was running as VP?

Oops…did I just kill this thread?

Seems like it. It’s ok, they won’t answer what else anyway.

They seem to think as long as they’re in control of resources their won’t be any abuse/corruption…but if someone other then them, corruption runs uncheck.

I remember those posts about all the abuse and corruption in Alaska back in 2008.

Rest assured the Patriots will sort it out in the end and do what’s right for the American people!

What’s next libs?

Nope…Facebook and Google should be broken up.

You still havent explained where I have been wrong. Hasn’t nationalization been successful in places?
