National Enquirer publisher says they paid off Playboy model Karen McDougal in concert with Trump’s presidential campaign

“As a part of the agreement, AMI admitted that it made the $150,000 payment in concert with a candidate’s presidential campaign, and in order to ensure that the woman did not publicize damaging allegations about the candidate before the 2016 presidential election,” prosecutors said.

Okay but all that jumping about with porn stars was before the election. Donald is a baby Christian now and has pivoted most bigly since winning.

Half a mil sound about right? $125k for the disgust factor.

Brother, let the Good Lord judge the Christianity.

The great whale of Trump rumors is that he threatened a woman into getting an abortion and that the National Enquirer assisted in covering it up.

Of course it’s almost certainly true as there is no way that Trump’s closet doesn’t have at least one aborted fetus in it. It’ll be interesting to see how our “principled pro-lifers” reconcile that when it inevitably drops.

Another confirmation of the President engaging in a criminal conspiracy with multiple other co-conspirators to illegally steal a Presidential election. Multiple felonies committed in the act of this criminal action with intent to defraud the citizens of this nation. People are going to prison over this.

And Trump’s biggest defenders will deflect and distract and attempt to downplay this reality with things like, it’s just a process crime, or pay the fine and get over it. Others will pretend it didn’t even happen. That’s how disconnected from reality these huge Trump supporters are proving themselves to be.

This is massive. Literally the next Watergate occurring right here and now.

Hopefully we’ll get to find out what’s in the safe.

The National Enquirer kept a safe containing documents on hush money payments and other damaging stories it killed as part of its cozy relationship with Donald Trump leading up to the 2016 presidential election, people familiar with the arrangement told The Associated Press.

The detail came as several media outlets reported on Thursday that federal prosecutors had granted immunity to National Enquirer chief David Pecker, potentially laying bare his efforts to protect his longtime friend Trump.

What’s the difference between civil and criminal violations for $125,000, Alex.

But it’s a good test of your Trump Defense Response Time.

Mueller must really have Pecker by the balls. :sunglasses:

Can’t if they engaged in obstruction. The obstruction would be a more serious charge.

Seems about right. We’ll have to wait and see.

Yeah, it genuinely looks pretty bad for Trump though.

He will probably face indictment (and potentially serious jailtime) upon leaving office.

Has nothing to do with the Mueller investigation of course, but even there they’re now on record saying Cohen has given them credible and reliable information relevant to the Russia investigation.

Like Donald, this has nothing to do with Christianity.

Unless you count its desecration.

Full honesty, I couldn’t care less what happens to him. Especially after he leaves office.

There was no personal attack. You posted something inaccurate to defend Trump. I pointed out both things. If you think either is an attack, that’s on you. I’ve never flagged one of your numerous homophobic and misogynistic attacks on me, so I think you can weather this storm.
