Which is of course sooo much better than McCarthy threatening the businesses with losing their ability to conduct business in the United States if they comply.

Oh? When did they have telecommunication and social media turn over her communications? I missed it.

They didn’t need to. She agreed to testify in person.

Imagine Trump or his band of fools agreeing to do that?

LOL

Yep,

MTG too…

Allan

It’s called common sense. Lunatic fringe libs should try it.

One of the most powerful political figures in the country is demanding access to political opponents personal communications.

You leftists really need to be careful what you wish for

If and when the republicans have a majority

That’s what they do…the same guy who justified 2020 violence with the 93% were peaceful crap…

There’s an ugly H word for that.

What you left out is their claim it violates federal law. They didn’t specify the law and they should. But it’s not some arbitrary threat they have no business making, if there is indeed such a law.

I m proud of McCarthy for that.

Common sense

By whom? Don’t be so dishonest.

Right they didn’t specify… in a statement that was a clear threat.

Pretty arbitrary since they didn’t specify which federal law…

There’s been a law for twenty years. It’s called the Patriot Act. Domestic Terrorism falls under acts of terrorism, do they not?

They were 93% peaceful unlike the Jan 6 riot which was 100% violent.

Allan

But those were white people, so it was mostly peaceful…lol

The dishonesty of you people is stunning. This is why libs can’t be trusted. This did not happen during any Hillary investigation. Nor was it even asked for. Why are you struggling with the truth?

Untrue. You speaketh with forked tongue…Again. The Patriot act did not turn over the private communications of congress members to their political opponents. You are making this up. Just stop.

Most likely this one.

from 18 U.S. Code § 2511 - Interception and disclosure of wire, oral, or electronic communications prohibited | U.S. Code | US Law | LII / Legal Information Institute

Section 2, (ii)

What didn’t happen they select committee on Hillary investigated for two years. All on a fishing expedition.
