I want to vote for who I want to vote for. If that means voting for them through the two party system, I will. Or they won’t be on the ballot at the end.
If we eliminated political parties, everyone would become an issues voter instead of a party voter. Maybe that’s why the Founders warned us about them. They knew where political parties would eventually lead.

You’ll notice that what I posted, in agreement with WW’s post, let’s you vote for who you want to in the primaries. Not sure what more you’re calling for.
I summarily vote against Dems because of their stands on issues. Not because they are Dems per se.
