Samsung didn’t develop the Android operating system either. That was Google (more or less; bought it and finished development). Samsung is just the largest manufacturer of Android phones and happens to have a tight relationship with the Korean government and receive massive government subsidies.
This is the problem with the 24/7 political entertainment profit system and those who submerse themselves in it. There’s no reason for the OP to get worked up about some random congressional seat. Even my local radio talker is worked up about it and it doesn’t affect us at all. It’s just so stupid.
Where the government has ownership of resources and controls the means of production, and the economy, thru central planning? You mean the hypothetical Utopian models based on the musings of Marx, or Lange, Dickinson, Lerner etc…? Who the hell wants that?
It’s a corrupt relationship, too. It goes back to the post Korean War era.
I’m a Samsung fan (when it comes to TVs and computer monitors) but the company has a dirty history dating back to the late 1950s. They were the cause of much government corruption in South Korea.
Yes, socailsim fails at all levels, big groups small groups, and capitalism make people wealthier at all levels. This is why leftist never join communes, or start giant unions where they pool their money and redistribute among themselves. Yet, small and large business is all over the place without force.
That is not what her website says. She, along with some other Democrats want to abolish ICE and leave it up to Congress how existing agencies would administer immigration policy. Trump keep falsely claiming that the Democrats want open borders. That is a flat out lie.
Uhm. Without ICE there is no immigration policy. It would be a total free for all. Instead of thousands flooding in, we would have millions. How the hell are we supposed to exist without ICE?
It will not. Communism loses where ever it is tried. Communism is responsible for more human misery than any political system in the history of the world.
We did before 2003. It was called INS and it was under the DOJ. She stated in an interview that she believes the INS did a better job then ICE is doing now. No one is suggesting that there not be control between ICE and whatever. Where do you get these ideas?
