I know right? If only they did things on OUR time frame, things would be so much better. We may not get FISA when we would like it, but you can bet the 17th will be quite a good show. Agreed?
I asked you once before. How could Mueller make that determination with any certainty before he interviewed the principal? That only happened months before the investigation ended.
My only question would be. Mr Mueller, you indicated in your report that you could not bring charges against a sitting president due to standing OLC policy. Had said policy not been in place, could or would a special prosecutor in this case have brought forth any charges based on what was derived from the investigation?
Thatâs the $64,000 question. I donât think heâll answer this to the satisfaction of a lot of people but I hope what he says empowers the Dems to kick some White House butt.
Are you going to be disappointed! He will remain the loyal soldier. His public statement showed that. I just hope he says enough to give the Dems a lot to go on. Either way they win here because weâll get more on the Report even if a small portion. #factsmatter
Will any of the Dems be bold enough to ask the question in the first place because I know most of them are thinking it.
Would he even answer it.
In my own opinion and just my opinion, I think the question will be asked. I donât believe it will be answered in any sort of straight forward manner, keeping in mind Mueller is a career lawyer who knows how to double speak when the need arises.
Hell Iâd be surprised if he even gave a Comey type answer like âNo reasonable prosecutorâŚâ
Oh I realize that and yet there is one poster here who swears up and down that Mueller told Barr on THREE separate occasions that the OLC policy had nothing to do with that. Seems to me if that was the case and the AG said so in his own testimony, it wouldnât be out of line for Mueller to state the same in open testimony. In the circumstance I would say that someone wasnât quite being forthcoming. That alone would be the price of admission.
Should be a pretty open and shut issue from there.
Either Mueller agrees that the OLC policy withstanding, there isnât enough to charge a crime.
Or
Mueller thinks there is enough but could not bring charges due to said policy.
Donât think there is a whole lot of wiggle room on that one. To answer one way or the opposite is to bring closure to that specific hiccup. To dance around it means someone isnât being truthful with what happened in conversations between Mueller and Barr.
Trump supporters appear to be foaming at the mouth attempting to paint the Mueller report as a nothingburger. Sorry, I read the report, Trump isnât fit to hold the office of the President.
Let me help you if I can. Mueller has previously said that he will only be repeating what he has included in the report. Therefore, any question that a Republican chooses to ask him during the hearing that is not relevant to the content of the report is likely to get short shrift from Mueller.
However, if a Democrat asks Mueller a question that is included in the report, Mueller is likely to recapitulate the content of the report. His responses will be broadcast and re-broadcast on tv for the general populace to see. That audience will be far greater than those who have read the Mueller Report.
Itâs the Mueller chicken â â â â Dossier, except Mueller hasnât read it, and doesnât know whatâs in it. It was written by the Democrat lawyers Mueller hired.
