I can fully understand why a big business would not like to be unionized. What I can’t understand is why an employee with no skill to command a better wage would reject a union. That’s akin to Walmart saying, lets unionize!!
Me personally, I don’t care. I’ve been in unions all of my life and been paid very well over the years. Not to mention a ridiculous amount of time off. I dedicate my life to my life, not my employer.
My current employer gives people with as low as an 8th grade education the opportunity to make more than most college grads. It’s all union. No union, no money. But I understand we’re moving away from that now.
