It honestly could have been Jerry Seinfeld for all I care. Need to get our government functioning.

It wasn’t a crisis, no matter what the politicians want to make it out to be. I wish the congress would only meet 4 weeks a year. There is WAY too many laws, regulations, and government agencies.

To me, they need to get rid of 90% of all government owned land and buildings (many sit empty with utilities on), sell it all and pay down the national debt, and close 60% of all government agencies. Just a court system and military. Cut out most licensing, regulations, and fed intrusion. Let the states do most of it.

Stop overspending, borrowing, and printing money, and get the gov out of debt. End all student loans or grants. That one thing will bring down the cost of education a lot. The schools increase prices according to what the gov will lend, not what the market will hold and it will become more merit based like it should be. Everyone’s not qualified for university. Not enough in trade school.

Many of the schools have so many billions they could run the schools for free on the interest.

I think the GOP should continue to promote more of their anti gay marriage members. Only about 71% of Americans support gay marriage. Oh republicans, always with their fingers on the pulse.

The homophobia sucks for sure, but I’m more worried about the election denialism.

What’s going to happen when Trump tries to steal the next election, and once again says “Just say the election was corrupt. And leave the rest up to me and the Republican congressmen?”…

…and the Speaker of the House is an election denier? I fear that we are running out of people with integrity on the other side, and are left with folks who will decide they might like to give fascism a try.

I get the feeling that many cons are going to be ultimately dissapointed with the speaker. I could be wrong but the speaker position I imagine is far more difficult that just voting on bills or shouting loudly.

There is skill and diplomacy needed, the ability to conpromise and build deals effectively. If he is great at that then he will be a disappointment becsuse for the loud proud maga crowd currently in the house its all about owning and sticking it to the libz. Thats it nothing else.
