I started a thread on this too! A few facts you seem to be missing:
- The 16 were not the duly assigned electors for the State of Michigan
- They attested on their submitted document that they were. (This is a crime)
- The State of Michigan requires electors to certify the document in the State Capitol.
- They certified it in a basement of the GOP headquarters and still said they certified it in the Capitol. (This is a crime)
- The former GOP SoS and the head of the Michigan GOP both refused to be fake electors and advised against it.
- The fake electors attempted to sneak into the Capitol the morning of, but were denied entry by the Capitol police. This shows intent to defraud.
- The GOP leaders of the Michigan House and Senate both said, on the day the fake electors met, that Biden won the state and that all protests, etc. should stop.
- The fake electors were not allowed to bring their phones into the meeting where they signed, which signifies they knew what they were doing was wrong.
- They were advised to include in the document that it was only if Trump were later found to have won the state, they refused.
They broke the law, they will be punished for it. Not because they were GOP members, but because they committed voter fraud.

Tried to pressure and showed up to the Capitol with fake certifications is totes the same.

They sure are and they’ve been doing it since we all observed Comey list all the laws broken by Hillary but concluded she was too stupid to be held accountable and let her off scott free.

Used to be peace officers back when I started out, or so I thought. Like the military they only serve to enforce the will of the state, whatever it may be at the moment. Compliance is demanded and owed under threat of pain, suffering, loss of freedom, and even death.

It is for congress and the courts to decide who the proper electors are. Making a failed argument that you are the legal electors should be rejected through the process, not prosecuted.

Yes it is and don’t forget the golden rule…Everything and anything Dems accuse others of they’re guilty as sin themselves. They don’t care who knows it as long as they can convince, cheat, import or pay for voters to retain power.

The proper electors are denoted by the Constitution, not the Court or Congress. The candidate with the most votes in that state wins the electors. You can contest the results up to that point in the Court system but once that time passes, it’s over.
Biden won Michigan by over 150,000 votes. In contrast, Trump won Michigan by around 12,000 votes in 2016 and I didn’t see Democrats offer “alternate electors” at that time.

And if there is a disagreement over the results of that election? Article 1 tells how that is to be resolved:
“Each House shall be the Judge of the Elections, Returns and Qualifications of its own Members,…”

one of the 16 electors was bragging on twitter about not going to jail.
methinks the elector might be having second thoughts on the issue.
All election fraud should be charged. Them included.

michigan law is very clear.
“The electors of president and vice-president shall convene in the senate chamber at the capitol of the state at 2 p.m., eastern standard time, on the first Monday after the second Wednesday in December following their election.”
did the fake electors do any of the above.
