The debt that it holds on its books, then, is policy - policy whose aim and outcome is the production of favorable balance of trade.

Baloney. If that’s the case, print all you like, with no effect. Pay off the national debt, stop charging anyone taxes, & just print whatever you need or want.

Our current federal government is a right of centre government. In terms of diversity around a quarter of all Australians were not born in Australia and Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane are in the top 10 cities in the world with the largest foreign born populations. Specifically with respect to Sydney, 250 different languages are spoken and around 36% of residents speak a language other then English at home.

Right of center down under is the far left from a northern hemisphere perspective.

I love it when people tell natives of other countries how it is in their countries…like people here know better than the natives.
