The logic behind the wall is flawed. The wall is supposed to stop what already comes to the U.S. through ports of entry.

Canāt say I disagree. I think most Americans would agree. The difference isnāt Trump and his ilk are dehumanizing them and detaining them in cruel and horrific conditions.
Theyāre still people. Still deserve to be treated with dignity.
The cruelty is the point.
Who are you talking to?
They are being held in the exact same conditions they were under Obama, thereās just a lot more of them.
Yes they are people. Dignity?

Is it? The guy with the little girl in the river? The son of a bitch who murdered Katie, which port of entry?
The wall is not intended to force them to points of entry?
The asylum laws have to be changed. What happens then?

Anecdotal arguments can be emotionally compelling but they are the exception, not the rule.
I agree, our laws need to be revamped. The status quo sucks. And the wall is a waste of money.
What race is that?
Many traveling via Mexico, hoping to reach the U S, are Guatemalansāoften descended from indigenous tribes & often a target of Mexican authoritiesāand Hondurans.
Just, what?
Why are we so surprised that Mexican nationals are not pro immigrant?
Here is Mexican immigration law:
Have you noticed what is happening South of the border lately? Please do tell in what depressed country foriegn aid has been a smashing success?
I try to avoid racism as well. My dislike of Trumps comments this past week had little to do with raceā¦had everything to do with him legitimizing their elections to congress by implying they were not Americans.
To be fair every light skinned nationality, Italian, Irish, German, Dutch, Russian, etc., etc., etc., are all clumped together as the White people.
The left does that all the time with any incident involving a white person or cop on any person not white.
hyperbole doesnāt help your āargument.ā
Who said foreign aid would end all problems? Again, are there any specific #s and countries you would like to discuss? Itās hard to address the efficacy of foreign aid if you dont have specific countries, costs and timeframes in mind.
No they donāt do it all the time.

Not if I my anecdotes add up to 51% of the total, Bob.
Iām not sure about the ROI on the wall, Iād like to try a couple of other things first.

I wouldnāt mind further investigation into that green energy/modern industrial corridor idea that those professors floated a few months ago that was linked here, I believe.
Let me see if I can find the link againā¦

He gave you the time frame and the amount. You can lump the 4 of them in together.
