Why are you so hung up on an expired statute of limitations? Gaetz is being investigated for ethics violations, not criminal activity. Gaetz was at a party with illicit drugs. He paid two girls for sex (illegal behavior in Florida), one of which was underage. That is unethical behavior for a congressman.

Now that Gaetz has resigned, there is nothing left to see.

Yes, I’m familiar with the definition of sex trafficking.

But apparently not with the public perception of what constitutes sex trafficking. Taking a prostitute on a vacation in the Bahamas does not jive with public’s perception of the term.

If she is going willingly then no crime has been committed. She is not being trafficked.

If she is under the age of consent then legally she cannot give consent (even if she is going willingly) so said prostitute would be trafficked.
