Massive disconnect between authoritarian elites and average voters

Boris Johnson recently observed that the prospect of a Trump second term has been sending shock waves through the hyper-elites at Davos.

. . . the global wokerati have been trembling so violently that you could hear the ice tinkling in their negronis . . .The more frenzied the effort to cancel him, the stronger he becomes. The more bitterly his enemies wage lawfare against him, the more unstoppable he seems to be . . .

Is it just a coincidence that four Ivy League graduates were responsible the Colorado court ruling to remove Trump from the ballot?

Should the top 1% have veto power over the rest of us?

Well if Bojo said something we all need to sit up and take notice despite the fact the man is a prolific liar who lies about his lies. Johnson has zero credibility.

And Johnson himself is the very definition of an elite. Doesnt anyone else see the irony of Johnson criticizing the elite of Davos when one has to be part of the elite to get an invite. ie johnson himself is part of that clique.

Yes, Johnson is part of the elite, but he was able to work with Trump. He does not have the same level of Trump derangement syndrome that permeates Davos, and what he said about the Davos elites is consistent with the recent survey results of American elites.

In a rare example of dissent, Davos had an American conservative explain how the authoritarian elites are the enemies of “liberal democracy” that they claim to support. The fact that they allowed him to speak at all indicates they are starting to panic.

What does it mean for a future 47th president when Alex Soros posts a photo of bullet hole and 47 US dollars?

Any arguments against the data or arguments, or just against the reputation of the person?

I saw an article online the other day that stated that the top 1% in wealth are responsible for 16% of carbon emissions. Those are the same group that meet at Davos and tell us to use mass transportation and stop cooking meals with gas stoves. I find that to be pretty representative of the elite/common people divide.

Davos represents more like the top .01%.

Their vision of utopia is that they will continue to enjoy caviar in their private jets while the rest of the world lives in pods and eats bugs to save the climate.

Trump is an Ivy League Graduate Billionaire who ■■■■■ on a gold plated toilet.

Complain about Billionaires…. Yet support the policies that enrich them more.

Yes, Trump is a member of the elite, and the elites hate “traitors”.

The problem with some of these elites is they’re not duly-elected no thanks to Dominion voting machines.
So you’re blocking real news?
Can’t post Gatway link.

Yes, that is the Democratic Party platform in a nutshell.

Of course. It’s a nonsensical sample put together for the “Committee to Unleash Prosperity.”

I do like this part, though:

The Elites are defined as those having a postgraduate degree, a household income of more than $150,000
annually, and living in a zip code with more than 10,000 people per square mile.

Who knew I was an “Elite?”

The Ivy League grads show the same trends only more so. They are certainly in the elite.

Bidenomics has included massive, unsustainable deficits that have fueled inflation especially for necessities like food, fuel, and rent. That sucks if you are on a fixed income or are renter whose wages have not kept up with the rise in prices.

It has been wonderful if you are wealthy enough to have a stock portfolio and own your own home.

Trump and all his kids went to ivy league schools.

Trump increased the deficit BEFORE COVID way more than Biden has.

Yes, the Trump family are “traitors” to the elite class. That is why they are so reviled.

The federal budget is going into a death spiral as interest on the debt explodes, but if the elites are happy then everything is cool.

Trump exploded the deficit 5 Trillion BEFORE COVID.

Trump gave the elites the biggest tax cut in history.

In what way has he been a traitor to them?

Billionaires love open borders. Depressed wages are great for their profits, and they make sure that all the problems are in somebody else’s backyard.

Of course, depressed wages and high inflation mean that many workers need two or three jobs just to pay the rent. But they are deplorables anyway, so who cares?

You don’t seem to be interested in replying to the fact that Trump and his family are ivy league grads, and trump blew up the deficit more than biden has - pre covid - and that trump ■■■■■ on a gold toilet, which if you ask me is a tell for being of the elite.

Yes, what is good for Bill Gates and George Soros is good for America . . .
