He has also said that he would end birthright citizenship
But the reporting that building massive detainment camps to facilitate this is just so unlike him and not to be believed.

And isn’t the USA a melting pot where immigrants helped define the culture.
Immigrants adapt and assimilate to a large degree.
Transplants don’t.
Immigrants do it legally and with respect. They ask.

I agree now that the situation may be overwhelming and something needs to be done but the past liberal attitudes towards immigration has only gone and made you the worlds superpower in a very short space of time.
So it hardly destroyed the country.
Illegal immigration did not make the US a superpower.
