Lloyd Austin must be held accountable for not just the complete tactical blunder and deaths of US military members during the AStan debacle but the politicization of the US Military. He is a retired US Army General that turned his back on the enlisted , officer corps and the Service Academies.
He should be removed from office.

No matter who joins, no one will ever successfully change Military policy by refusing to enforce the policy they are tasked with enforcing.
Also, you’d be surprised as to how many trouble makers in the Military tend to die in accidents.

One of the smartest things the Military ever did was to tear down the walls of segregation (well before the civilians did) and let the best man take the lead.
One of the stupidest things the Military ever did was become a queer social engineering project.

It’s because those with positions of authority at the Pentagon lost their balls and became politicians instead of telling outside influences to ■■■■ off, the US Armed Forces aren’t for sale.
Every officer is a politician, plain and simple. Every Enlisted E-7 and above is a politician, plain and simple. The higher they go, the more politics they play. It’s always been that way with our standing military.

Your experience is limited to Big Army. Where I was, SGM run companies, not politics.
The regular military, like the vast majority of everyone who ever served. You bearded people don’t factor into that, I know. 
If you know anything about the Military you know you can’t change anything from “the inside”. 
You follow orders or you get a court martial, kicked out and/or jailed.
Starting with Obama, or as I like to call him B.O., Democrat POTUS’s are the enemy of the US Military and are more dangerous to our troops than any foreign enemy.

Good post. Any notion that by enlisting in the armed forces gives someone the ability to change this woke direction is pure poppycock. An enlisted person is nothing more than a number and pee-on in minds of the elites who run things. You take orders or face the consequences. The only way this changes is through the Republicans attaining substantial power and then dismantling all the wokeness ■■■■■■■■■ Don’t see it happening.

Maybe it’s not what it appears. Maybe the Pentagon wants to drive down enlistment and reinstitute the draft, because they can rely on the numbers and don’t have to tempt them to sign up with enlistment bonuses.

What do you mean? The draft served the military quite well through both war and peace from 1940 to 1973.
