Marines urged to stop using “Sir and Ma’am”?

Are you ■■■■■■■ KIDDING?
Leave the gender bull ■■■■ out of the military Austin you coward!

If your mouth opens and it doesn’t immediately offend the Drill Sergeant, you’ve been robbed of a proper basic combat training.

how many misgendered marine officers are there?

Lloyd Austin is a punk and a coward. He should never be addressed as “General” ever again. ■■■■ him.

Every conservative should absolutely discourage any of their children from joining the US military.

I have 2 nephews serving. 1 marine, 1 army. Neither are reenlisting.

May be the point of the whole exercise.

Or every conservative should encourage their children to sign up to fix the problems from within. I’m not sure how giving up and ignoring it is going to help.

Not exactly a bottom up organization

I served 50 years ago. I volunteered for the Air Force. But one often used phrased was primarily responsible for me getting the hell out when my enlistment was up. “The needs of the Air Force”.

Initially I was very enthusiastic when I joined. My specialty was responsible for the operation, maintenance, software engineering and programming of some highly specialized equipment. I was especially skilled in the maintenance and software engineering aspects, with no real interest in operating the gear.

Unfortunately, there came a time when the Air Force decided to split the specialty into operations and maintenance/engineering. Selection of who went where was not done by skillset or desire. They chose by whoever happened to be next in the rotation, regardless of skillset or desire. It should come as no surprise that I ended up in operations. My complaints were ignored. I was told over and over again about the needs of the Air Force, which really made no sense. If it really was about the needs of the Air Force, they would have filled the technical slots with the most qualified.

Needless to say, we parted ways at my first opportunity.

I agree!

When Federal Reserve Notes were made a legal tender in violation of our Constitution, and a direct un-apportioned tax was imposed upon the people without their consent, America’s free enterprise, free market system was subjugated, and the tools of oppression were made available to some very immoral and nefarious people.

I saw this the other night on my news app. I’m not military so I typically don’t comment on it beyond military history which I’m fascinated with and heavily study.

But this… this just sounds all kinds of wrong and ■■■■■■ up. The military isn’t supposed to be an inclusive place. It’s supposed to be a place where you do as you are told and where the mission comes first and foremost. The mission takes number one priority over anyone’s needs, or comforts, or desires. Least that’s what my dad told me and he was Army for ten years.

How on earth does avoiding “misgendering” a superior help the mission? What’s wrong with “yes mam, and no sir?”

I just don’t understand that.

Lloyd Austin needs to either step down or relieved. He has allowed politics and wokeism to destroy the Branches of the US Armed Forces. He has betrayed the enlisted personnel and fostered an officer corps that is more preoccupied with gender identity and proper pronoun use than leadership, killing the enemy and destroying the enemy’s assets.
The ChiComs, Russians and Iranians don’t brainwash their soldiers with wokeism and pronoun usage.
This country gets in a shooting war with any of the above and we are going to be seriously ■■■■■■ with this bull ■■■■■
Austin had his chances to stand up and tell the agenda asshats to ■■■■ off the US Military is hands off but NOOO, He went full on boot licker. Moron

What’s sad is that in the military one must conform or risk going to jail. In civilian life I can tell anyone who might attempt to correct me to go take a flying leap. Not so in the military.

I know that piece of woke ■■■■ would not be welcome in my old stomping ground in East Harlem.

Well, if you’re so butt hurt that being “misgendered” prevents you from carrying out your staff or command duties, I’m pretty sure you’ve chosen the wrong profession.

This will do nothing but detract from discipline and unit cohesion. Anything that detracts from discipline and unit cohesion negatively impacts combat readiness. Gender references are not a focus of battle. Anyone in the military more focused on their gender identity, than on combat readiness, has no place in military leadership. Bombs and bullets don’t ask for your proper pronouns, or where you land on the gender spectrum before they cut into your flesh.

Well, the Rs can draw up articles of impeachment. Under Austin’s faux leadership the Branches aren’t meeting recruiting goals and ETS & retiring personnel are saying the military isn’t what they signed up for anymore.
It’ll never be approved by the Senate but seriously, Austin like the rest of the J’Biden regime cabinet oafs is an abject failure. Austin can never justify the Afghanistan withdrawal debacle. How did this man rise the rank of General and command Airborne Divisions and the 10th Mountain Division?
And this is his work as SecDef? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:
