Then learn something…report back to the class on your findings.

Start with this…

When a whole segment of the population stands by and offers its tacit endorsement of needless stupid violence night after night for 3 or 4 months as liberals did last summer…then that opens the door for more such incidents.

When that same segment of the population then uses the actions of a few idiots over a few hours on one day as an excuse to indict the other half of the population…all the while proclaiming its own virtue while acting like that other half is just a bunch of duh duh duh dumb ole dufuses…

When that same segment of the population refuses to acknowledge legitimate concerns about things like election security (your side first proclaimed there was no fraud…only later changing that tune to ‘well it wasn’t enough fraud and if you don’t agree with us your part of QAnon even if you have no idea what that is’)…that’s a problem. There were too many ballots flying around in the mail, too many rule changes outside of the constitution using Covid as an excuse, too many ballots that mysteriously took too long to count. I can say that and not be a q whatever. The leftists in charge in DC not only are refusing to acknowledge those legitimate concerns but want to double down on the stupid in a few states by nationalizing it.

IMHO those are the things we need to learn from.

Chris Bedford has a great piece in The Federalist.

Headline “The Capitol police chief and her Democratic bosses are lying to you all to hold our capitol hostage!”

Among the comments Bedford makes which I totally agree with…” My city has been occupied for more than eight weeks. Major thoroughfares blocked, thousands of armed soldiers, armored vehicles, seven-foot fencing, concertina wire…What’s it all for?”

He answers a couple of paragraphs down…

“ It’s because those idiot rioters had finally — after months and years of left-wing riots here and across the country — finally given Democratic lawmakers and the corporate media the right-wing riot they always claimed was around the corner.

It’s because panic porn and agitprop are useful tools when you’re working as hard as you can to spread fear and distrust against the half of the country that disagrees with your policies.”

He’s exactly right.

Fascinating.

First a large group of Republican/conservatives fall into the QAnon hole. Then they claim it was a trick by the left. Then they claim Republican/conservatives never fell for it in the first place, rather it was made up by the left the entire time.

I’m not sure what’s more concerning - people falling for QAnon or people believing no one actually fell for it in the first place. I’ll give people credit for publicly admitting their cognitive issues.

The whole “the libs made them do it” is a pretty hilarious argument guys.

The right was tricked/outsmarted by the libs into the QAnon thing without a way to prove it.
The right was tricked/outsmarted by the libs into a stolen election without a way to prove it.

I’m sensing a theme.

The whole qqqqqqanon is a big deal is even funnier.

But you guys need some reason to accuse us all of being ignorant rubes from Rural America…

When you get outside of the little bubble of left wing clown shows and internet wastes of time…errrrrrr…discussion boards to real world would just point and laugh.

Anyway…have a nice day trying to pigeon home anyone smart enough to reject the crackpot left into some little group that’s not nearly as big a deal as leftists want it to be.

Post of the year

By the way it’s now March 6. Were the violent qqqqqqqqanon thugs who were supposed to mob Washington DC just delayed or did they get lost and end up in Charlotte or something???

Or are they just all waiting for March 20?

Come on guys you know wayyyyyy more about qqqqqqqqqqqqqqqanon than all of us crazy cons who are supposed to me members what’s the real story?

I remember the “liberal plant” excuse anytime something happened at tea party events. It seems to be their fallback position.

There is a ton of projection going on here my man.

So where were all the rabid cons on March 4?

There was supposed to be some kind of insurrection but nobody seemed to be doing much insurrection…and the only people talking about the insurrecting insurrectionists were a bunch of libs…it was all over MessNbc.

So what happened to the insurrection you guys promised?

The Qrazies got spooked by all the news coverage and thought it was a setup

You are holding me to a claim that I never made.

The March 4th thing is one of the last gasps of the movement.

A movement and belief system that is real, grew out of the internet and was built through engagement algorithms.

It wasn’t a liberal movement… I wouldn’t even call it a conservative movement… it is a movement that was based around a cult of personality of Donald Trump and had a separate and distinct reality that is different from what most people experience.

The danger in simply dismissing it out of hand is that it is going to happen again. It will be built on and improved. It isn’t going away.

You are conflating two different groups as the same group to create your narrative of non-Q conservatives suffering from cognitive dissonance.

No he was strictly referring the conservatives that fell for the phony conspiracy, not the ones who saw through it

Correct. Those who continue to believe in Q aren’t saying QAnon was a leftist ploy or simply made up. That would be self-defeating. I’m addressing those on the right who are trying to “explain” QAnon as either a leftist ploy or made up to excuse or dismiss QAnon.

Don’t spoil the trump supporters fever dreams.

Everyone knows the BLM protests during the summer were peaceful. (93% documented)

Here’s what’s been documented about the Bloody Riots that took place in the summer of 2020 courtesy of the thugs and BLM and Antifa.

Riots following George Floyd’s death could cost up to $2B (nypost.com)

Last summer was not peaceful. That’s a complete untruth.

This is from the piece in the Federalist I linked above. " Just as with “two weeks to slow the spread,” on Capitol Hill we were told one month to stop the “insurrection.” Then three weeks in, the acting Capitol Police chief requested that fencing remain permanently, a sort of replacement for providing the training and enforcing the standards that are expected of police departments across America. In the following weeks, reporters at outlets like Politico thirstily spread rumors from unnamed “Guard members” that March 4 was the day the militias would finally come back. Except this time, instead of tens of thousands of people flying and driving to the capital for a widely advertised protest with nearly zero preparation for crowd control, there was internet “chatter” about something maybe happening to a building people can’t walk within 100 yards of because it’s surrounded with razor wire and thousands of National Guardsmen."

Yawn, no one cares.

I limited my views to the BLM protests (you know the ones I have observed first hand). An overwhelming number of them were peaceful.

I am not saying a few turned violent but the many were peaceful.
