The reason I like Desantis so much is that he will make it extremely difficult for them to do this. They will and it will be so forced it won’t be effective.
I’ve been surprised and very impressed with Desantis. As a congressman he didn’t seem to stand out that much (of course there is a lot of them) but he has been very impressive as Governor!
The national media have been rooting for his failure and looking to jump on any mistake and they have not been successful.
Desantis got the ire of the media by keeping FL businesses open when the rest of the US was Covid closed. Desantis made the correct decision.
Desantis was very good with the Surfside tragedy also. He is up to the challenge and he does not have the EGO Trump does…he doesn’t have the EGO Kamala Harris has. Desantis is a selfless and forward thinking leader.
They are aware he is a threat now and are trying to destroy him too just like they tried with Trump.
Just for the record however i have no problem with Trump’s ego as long as he puts the country 1st and was successful on so many fronts for the country.
He drove the media crazy but i don’t care about that miserable/dishonest lots fweelings.
NY was the worst response and outcome, though NJ can make a case.
MANY snowbirds fled those states to FL and FL still did a fantastic job protecting its HUGE population of elderly and vulnerable and FL ALSO got the vaccine out most expeditiously.
