Once again, you are using inductive reasoning rather than deductive reasoning.
If the border were secured [as with a physical barrier were the terrain requires such] there would be little to no illegal border crossings and therefore little to no apprehensions at the border.

The Democrat Party Leadership has been encouraging this ongoing invasion of our southern border since 1985 when amnesty was granted to 2.5 million illegal entrants in return for a guarantee to build a wall and secure our border. And here we are today, no wall, but 10-15 million new illegal entrants and the invasion continues
Contrary to your above assertion, walls/barriers do work! And, there are a number of existing examples confirming a substantially built barrier/wall drastically reduces illegal border crossings, e.g.,:
Israel’s border wall along the Gaza Strip is very effective, and its southern border wall is likewise effective;
The two-story corrugated steel fence built under Bush in El Paso, Texas has also proven to prevent illegal border crossings;
And let us not forget Yuma, Arizona’s wall cut illegal border crossings to a 10th of what they were in 2006.
The facts are what they are!

The unavoidable truth is Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s plan for “free” college tuition will be paid for by taxing millions of college graduates who worked for and paid their own way through college and are now trying to finance their own economic needs.

It’s crystal clear you cannot back up your assertion about the effectiveness of the wall along the Gaza Strip nor can you demonstrate that there are “few if any” apprehensions along that wall by the authorities there as one would expect if we were to accept your belief on the issue.
Simply put, it’s a silly notion that you’d expect few if any apprehensions at a secure border.
Even the CBP admits to the GAO in this report released last year that they have no metrics to determine where to invest in border protection on the southern border… From the report:
Recommendations for Executive Action To ensure Border Patrol has the best available information to inform future investments in TI and resource allocation decisions among TI and other assets Border Patrol deploys in the furtherance of border security operations, and to ensure that key parties within Border Patrol’s Requirements Management Process are aware of their roles and responsibilities within the process, we recommend that the Chief of the Border Patrol: • Develop metrics to assess the contributions of pedestrian and vehicle fencing to border security along the southwest border using the data Border Patrol already collects and apply this information, as appropriate, when making investment and resource allocation decisions; and • Develop and implement written guidance to include roles and responsibilities for the steps within its requirements process for identifying, funding, and deploying tactical infrastructure assets for border security operations.
Some really great insights into the costs and complexities of what has been deployed, how it’s been breached and the varying requirements.
If these three paragraphs, in and of themselves, form a foundational premise for your argument, I can’t believe you wrote them with a straight face. The ONLY thing confirmed by the statistics given is that apprehensions are down. Period. Crossings, or attempted crossings, may be up, the same, or down.
I gave you four examples. I don’t have to prove anything. Walls work when used under the right circumstances.

President Trump must not cave in and surrender the leverage he has to force Congress to make good on its 1986 promise to secure our border.

Congress could pass appropriations for $100 billion for a wall for this FY and appropriate $0 next year… If the president has not made the case to convince congress and the American people of the necessity of this project (whatever that might be, concrete wall, no scratch that, artistic steel slats) and sustain that support then it’s very unlikely to ever be accomplished…
