@DougBH thanks for your considered response and explanation because both parties are guilty of credibility issues when they only want to hold the opposing party accountable and even worse convince their electorate to do so.
Their is something rotten in Denmark that these senators keep getting elected well past their sell by date, spend their constituents time indulging in childless tit for tat games and stay in power for years like Mitch McConnell whose state is one of the poorest yet keeps getting elected.
Honestly the greatest nation on earth is going to be run by octogenarians either way and that’s pretty depressing.

Tell me when have you served? My husband served in Vietnam. I have children and Grandchildren serving now. Fact is I have had uncles and grandfathers serve the country since the revolutionary war. What is amazing is someone who has never served pushing war when they know they will never have to put their lives or anyone in their families lives on the line.

My family has not in the US as long as yours. My father was partially disabled from wounds suffered in combat. I made mention of my work in the intelligence community earlier in this thread and was mocked for suggesting such a possibility. I hope you chose to respect service in this case rather than demean it.
