Because the products are tested to make sure they are not tainted. It might help to learn a little bit about what you are so outraged over. Legalizing Cannabis makes it safer in just about every way.

I don’t know what the answer to the opioids epidemic is, I am 100% for legalizing marijuana but heroin I don’t know. I understand the argument that people will just get on a prescription but the damage heroin does is horrible. I read somewhere that 90% of people addicted to heroin never get off.
You really think legalizing all drugs will not lead to a lot more people being killed by someone driving under the influence of whatever?

No. But are you advocating to make alcohol illegal? Because it’s one of the worst drugs out there. Does legalizing, in the case of weed, or decriminalizing, in the case of mushrooms necessarily mean more people are going to drive under the influence of these drugs? Again, do you think people were not taking these drugs before they became legal/decriminalized?
Again 2 wrongs do not equal a right. People will die because of people high on these drugs out driving.
As for alcohol i wouldn’t be bothered at all if it was illegal. It would surely save some lives.
