But it is always stupid to let politics get in thew way of business. It may help you with one constituency but will hurt you with another.
Why eliminate a large block of customers, when it isn’t at all necessary? How dumb is that???

Hard to speculate without knowing the full story. Maybe he would have lost an even larger block outside the States otherwise? Maybe after you earn that first billion there are bigger motivators than making money?
Who can say.
What I can say is what I DID say - there’s a lot of possible downside and no real upside - as far as business goes - to make political statements.
It ALWAYS pisses off someone and it simply isn’t at all necessary.
