Its getting hard to comment without being accused of something or called something, often by slight implication.

I was laughing on the inside. I rarely laugh on the outside, otherwise I might tip my hand.

Funny you guys believe in unproven wackadoo conspiracy theories but not blatant racism that’s been documented…
Especially when the GOP has been redeveloping racist tactics since the 60s…
Standard youtube warnings apply

I have a signed first edition Kipling around here somewhere, which I don’t keep on my bookshelf because it has a swastika on the binding. Wish I had known that before I bought it. It pre-dates the Nazi’s by a wide margin but not everyone who might see it on my bookshelf would know that.

Glad I split from from the GOP.
The mainstream GOP hates trump.

Lol…sure you did…
who are you voting for in November…a GOP candidate or a trumper that has ties to white supremecist…
The GOP went from the party that freed the slaves…
to the party of racism…
to the party of dog whistles…
to the party of trump…
whats next…
party of nationalism…

Boogeymen.

Im playing the truth card…
its what I see and hear from this administration and its followers
only right-wing media downplays or ignores it and replaces with wacky conspiracy theories…
Please prove me wrong…but please provide facts please…

But libs made that sign.

People really are paranoid, when something as innocuous as this has them going full tilt Henny Penny, screaming “the sky is falling.”

It’s not random that this innocuous gesture was chosen to mean white power. It was chosen for a very specific reason.

I’m not really sure if “fill tilt Henny Penny screaming ‘the sky is falling’” accurately describes what’s going on. Either the kid was making hand signs meaning white power, OK, the Circle Game, or he was just being a dumbass for the camera. Regardless of the kid’s reasoning for flashing hand signs behind the president, it wasn’t appropriate, and the kid was removed from his position less than 60 seconds after he started acting a fool.

The point is the degree of angst being exhibited because this kid was goofing around, whatever the reason.

The 10 second clip, played on repeat, with the caption that the kid was allowed to remain in his position. It really contrasts with the perception that Plaid Shirt Guy was kicked out of the rally after barely doing anything.

Neither narrative is completely accurate.

I only know this because i sought out and watched the live videos of the rallies. Muted, of course.

life imitates art…

There are plenty of people who do not agree with the current Democratic Party’s nanny state, socialist ideology and agenda, so they support Republicans.

There are plenty of people who do not agree with the current Republican Party’s leaning towards federalism, and constitutionalist ideology and agenda, so they support the dems.

It’s just that simple. All of the other baggage people bring with them is not a reflection on the political party they support.

Sometimes people will support one party over another, based upon a single issue, like abortion, or immigration. You can be a single issue voter and not support that political party in every other way.

There are people who are democrats, and they are racist against whites, it does not mean the dems support the racism seen within the Black Panthers or La Raza (now called UnidosUS).
