The point is Paul was okay denying aid to other Americans but expects it for his state.

Apparently, you don’t know how FEMA emergency funding works. Paul has nothing to say about it either way. The request comes solely from the Governor.

In 2013 he voted against emergency relief for hurricane Sandy.

So what? It’s still entirely the Governor’s call regardless of what Paul did then or now.

Well, no you aren’t. Paul voted against an emergency extension of FEMA funds. This was off budget. Never mind the fact he has vocally dissented at other times. Yet when it is his state, there he is with his grubby little hand out.

Paul’s vote is immaterial to the issue of Kentucky receiving FEMA funds. Bringing that up is no more pertinent to this disaster than Ted Kruz going to Cancun during the Texas ice storm was to that disaster. Just cheap political shots. You can do better.
