StarLord:
Yet these anti-choice nutcases just fought all the way up through the supreme court so that they wouldnât have to post the following information.
The FACT Act requires unlicensed crisis pregnancy centers to post a sign or otherwise disclose to their clients in writing that the center is not a licensed medical facility and has no licensed medical provider who supervises the provision of services. The disclosure requirement extends to advertising, which anti-abortion pregnancy centers objected to as an attempt to âdrown outâ their message.
The second provision of the law, dealing with licensed centers, requires clinics that do not provide a full range of reproductive care, including services covered by Medicaid, to post a sign that says the state provides free or low-cost access to prenatal care, birth control and other reproductive care, including abortions
And after looking into it a little further like this, I have changed my mind. The Supreme Court has â â â â â â up once again.
Young women will use this âInter-Websâ thing you speak of and if they happen to choose one of these âCrisis Pregnancy Centersâ looking for help, you can rest peacefully and do your little happy dance that they will not be given the full and true information about every means of care and assistance available to them from the state.
Good job!
If they want information from the state, they can seek it from the state. Religious organizations are not agents of the state nor are they supposed to be.
Surely Kennedy retiring comes as no surprise to anyone
Joanne:
Not for me it isnât. While I personally disagree with SSM, what two consenting adults do is not really my business.
I have an entirely different view about abortion, because one is an innocent life.
Hope that answers your question.
2 consenting adults can do anything they wish while âwedâ in an unionâŚ[civil union], âŚnot a marriage.
Forcing their way into âmarriageâ while never setting foot in church is my ONLY objection.
Unfortunately they have successfully turned marriage into nothing but a civil contract.
He said âitâs literallyâ.
Pay attention.
Sad it is.
They all vote DâŚI may add.
So you have no objection then. Many same-sex couple have been getting married in Churches for decades.
The Metropolitan Community Church (MCC), also known as the Universal Fellowship of Metropolitan Community Churches (UFMCC), is an international LGBT-affirming mainline Protestant Christian denomination. There are 222 member congregations in 37 countries, and the fellowship has a specific outreach to lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender families and communities.
The fellowship has Official Observer status with the World Council of Churches. The MCC has been denied membership in the US National...

Sure.
If your Church will marry them they can have a religious wedding.
Sorry to say that since frogs canât enter into civil contracts such a marriage will not be recognized as a valid legal marriage.
But ya, you could if you want.

And the point is that they are not being upfront that they are religious, nut case anti-choice organizations. They are advertising themselves simply as Crisis Pregnancy Centers and then doing everything they can with every young girl/woman that walks through their doors to keep valid information from them.
Trusting, scared young women have no idea they are not being given all the information that they really should be.
But Iâm sure this pleases you.
See Doug, Joanne is already fully on board.

I donât care what they are, they are not agents of the state and they are protected by the first amendment.
Keep spewing that hate though, eventually you may run out of it and join the human race.
Or what they do to poor, scared, young women looking for help and honesty in what is available to them.
You and many on the right are the ones that need to join the human race.
Crawl back under your bridge and embrace the first amendment.
Withholding information from young, scared pregnant girls.
The founding fathers would be so proud of the way you embrace that right being twisted. I applaud you all.

Is there a woman in this country or even a girl over 10 that isnât aware abortion is an option?
