Justice Department is seeking to dismiss case against Michael Flynn

so they acted like normal law enforcement?

How far would you go to protect your family?

Is that your idea of Justice? That’s how they might do it in third world countries, but not in the U.S. But then again, when it comes to Trump Derangement Syndrome, all bets are off. Everything is on the table. And by the tone of your response, you seem to be just fine with that.

There are pictures? Wow!

Actually, he was.

Not only was he wiped out financially, but they threatened to pull his son into this mess.

Law enforcement is supposed to threaten people? Really. No they are not.

Please post a link to the law that barr and every trump lacky has violated. Please and thank you.

Law enforcement “threaten” suspects every day.

In polite company, it’s called leverage.

Thanks

They tell them that along with bankrupting the person with legal fee’s they will go afte their son next? That’s NOT the way it should happen in this country. You know the innocent until proven guilty. So far everything coming to light with Trump and his supporters is guilty unless you can prove innocent.

The FBI didn’t “threaten” Flynn with bankruptcy by legal fees.

Flynn chose to hire a legal team that probably cost him $1000 an hour. He could have gone with a cheaper lawyer - or a public defender. Any financial difficulties that caused are Flynn’s issue, not the FBI’s.

As for his son - law enforcement uses family as leverage whenever they can. It tends to be very effective.

Yes…

Its called interrogation not best friend sleepover.

wait till they learn about that 15 year old kid that spent almost 5 years in jail without being sentence because the police though he stole a backpack.

Yeah, I think the fact that a millionaire who had to sell one of his homes to pay his Big Law legal team is inspiring rightwingers to sing spirituals and yell about “civil rights” is one of the most delusional post-Trump manifestations.

Should only be charged in juvenile court.

Prosocutor should be fired and possibly brought up on charges — unless the defence attorney kept asking for delays.

And for a kid to be kept in custody for a simple theft – there is a hell of a lot more to the story than just a kid stealing a backpack.

Okay there has to be a LOT more to the story. A person doesn’t get a 10,000 dollar bail and as a minor sent to adult prison for lifting a backpack. Something isn’t adding up here. Unless New York Laws are all screwed up by Liberals and they somethow thing a 10k fine for stealing a backpack is reasonable (bail for simple things like that is usually = to the monetary fine they would get).
