Segregated bathroom are stupid unless they have showers.
You are making the assumption that National day of Prayer is political. It is not.
Its political if they want it to be political.
So, you don’t mind peeing in a urinal while a woman is washing her hands in the sink next to you?
Just have stalls.
That’s fine if you are building a new bathroom. Converting all existing public men’s rooms to stalls only would cost a lot of money.
But I agree that unisex public bathrooms with toilet rooms works just fine. Our new Engineering building is configured like that. Each toilet is in a small room with a full-sized door on it (no peeking over the stall divider.) It makes those spontaneous quickies oh so convenient. 
It shouldn’t be.
But guess what… it sure as hell is now.
