Not exactly. “The scientists” don’t all agree. And some scientists will only support the views of their employers. Others do not want to deal with the consequences of not going along with the groupthink.
That’s a broad brush. If you want to accuse scientists of being beholden to their employers, you need to provide specific examples of the both the scientist and his/her employer. If not, that is disingenuous.
You know why.
If you think all scientists agree, you need to prove it. If not, that is disingenuous.
Either way. The states will be lifting the restrictions when the feel they should. Not when Fauci tells them to.

Well of course it is. But flat out denial of everything they don’t like is part and parcel of modern day conservatism. You name it: pandemic management, racism, police brutality, elections, climate change.
If they don’t like it, it’s fake, and that’s all there is to it.

I don’t care what people believe as long as they don’t shut down other people’s livelihoods to do it. I think States will start moving on from this with or without Fauci and Biden.
