Well of course there’s a standard. It requires psychological evaluation usually over the course of years, then social transition before medical intervention, and then years more before there is any consideration of surgery, if ever. Meanwhile if social transition is successful and medical treatment to delay puberty is successful, there may be cross gender hormones to stimulate puberty of the nature of the desired gender. That requires parental consent and the agreement of the minor. The stories of sex reassignment surgery of minors is very rare, and is not usually recommended.
And what if in 9 or 10 years they figure out that they made a mistake when the kid was 9?
How does the kid get those years of normal physical development back that they had stolen from them?
That’s where they get me every time I was perfectly ok with the bathroom deal as well as just treating your fellow man/woman with dignity then it jumped without pause from there into puberty blockers, biological males in women sports, and the forsaken pronouns.
Funny thing, the puberty blockers are not FDA approved for transgender therapy. There are side effects according to the FDA. The impact of puberty blockers on brain development during what should be normal puberty, a critical period in the brain’s final development, has never been studied. And the cross gender hormone therapy most certainly is known to cause infertility in biological females by irreversibly damaging their ovaries.
Regardless of what ever argument one chooses to try to rationalize it, it’s extreme child abuse.
The father of gender theory lied about his research. His case study boy (Bruce) reassigned to being a girl Brenda) in babyhood and channeled into feminine gender behaviours was never comfortable as a girl and in later life became David. It began as Frankenstein science and it still is.
And none of that seems questionable to you?

That post was basically a description of what would probably happen if a full grown man walked into a rest room with a bunch of young girls already in there.
People do tend to react poorly to that.
First, I want to say I don’t like support transgendered people in women’s sports. I might make exceptions if they have undergone puberty blockers from a young age and haf bottom surgery. People like Lia Thomas, that weight lifter from New Zealand, and those British cyclist clearly had an advantage.
But what do you think really affects female athletes more transgendered people or strict abortion laws? Don’t know of any female high schooler has lost a scholarship to a trans female. But if you get pregnant, you can pretty much kiss your athletic career goodbye. Imagine abortion rates among athletes is very high compared to other women.
Keep your legs crossed, if you want an athletics career. We all know what causes pregnancies - I mean real pregnancies.

That’s the first paragraph. The girls were apparently In the shower wearing their bathing suits when this dude strolled in and strutted his junk…justifying his actions announcing “I’m trans by the way”.
The letter alleges that the transgender student “undressed fully and showered completely naked right next to one of the girls.”
“He was initially turned towards the wall but eventually turned and fully exposed his male genitalia to the four girls.”
This clown is not a “transgender woman” he’s 18 which makes him an adult male exposing himself to w bunch of 14 year old girls. That used up be a crime right?
