You want me to pay a 19 year-old to “socialize with other people on line”?
if you get rid of everyone, every social problem disappears. that is true

limit children being born in US while world pop continues to explode?
besides. people are potential solutions. not necessarily problems. you sound like a leftist
(sorry)
Solution to problems people create. Without people, what problems are there?
a bit harshly reductive i would say.
sure no people, no social problems
thats what the left says. “earth would be so much better off if there were no people”
dont do that. they ruin enough
True or not?
if you get rid of everyone, every social problem disappears. that is true
So if we have fewer, do problems decrease?
That sounds kind of like a ponzi scheme.
It’s exactly like a Ponzi scheme, as it has been from the beginning.
In any case, those benefits aren’t going to be covered by low paid cabbage pickers and Walmart sweepers.
Benefits for retired cabbage pickers and Walmart sweepers can be covered by working cabbage pickers and Walmart sweepers.

no. they do not, because high population is not the problem

Glad we could agree.
He is right in that many Americans, in particularly those in the middle class, are not having children. Nonetheless our population has increased substantially over the years through both loose legal and illegal immigration practices.
People don’t have kids “because of capitalism,” but growth is essential. Without it, the system falls apart. So what system are you advocating here.
The system would not fall apart you just wouldn’t have the same level of growth.
So I’ve been thinking. Climate change is a hoax, but I’m willing to spend some treasure to shut the libs up about it.
I’m tired of debating climate change with the libs. I just want to see their plan. So far, nothing. All they talk about is wealth redistribution, tax increase and reducing production of fossil fuels. This only makes energy more expensive.None of those will do a single thing to combat “climate change.”
WAKE ME WHEN THEY HAVE AN ACTUAL PLAN.
Really? The stock market, the social safety net, etc., all require growth to work. Or, as Paul Ryan put it:
“Baby boomers are retiring and we have fewer people following them in the workforce. We have something like a 90-percent increase in the retirement population of America but only a 19-percent increase in the working population in American,” he continued. “So what do we have to do? Be smarter, more efficient, more technology … still gonna need more people.”
The problem with this is related to social security when it was implemented. Back then the average life span was 64 years old. It was meant to be an emergency type program for those who lived longer but could not work anymore. The idea of retirement is more a modern day concept.
