I've Been Thinking - Policies, Climate Change, Healthcare

You want me to pay a 19 year-old to “socialize with other people on line”?

if you get rid of everyone, every social problem disappears. that is true

So if we have fewer, do problems decrease?

It’s exactly like a Ponzi scheme, as it has been from the beginning.

Benefits for retired cabbage pickers and Walmart sweepers can be covered by working cabbage pickers and Walmart sweepers.

no. they do not, because high population is not the problem

Well, you’re wrong.

i m sure you think i am. but it is so

Glad we could agree.

He is right in that many Americans, in particularly those in the middle class, are not having children. Nonetheless our population has increased substantially over the years through both loose legal and illegal immigration practices.

The system would not fall apart you just wouldn’t have the same level of growth.

I’m tired of debating climate change with the libs. I just want to see their plan. So far, nothing. All they talk about is wealth redistribution, tax increase and reducing production of fossil fuels. This only makes energy more expensive.None of those will do a single thing to combat “climate change.”

WAKE ME WHEN THEY HAVE AN ACTUAL PLAN.

The problem with this is related to social security when it was implemented. Back then the average life span was 64 years old. It was meant to be an emergency type program for those who lived longer but could not work anymore. The idea of retirement is more a modern day concept.
