You went from requiring a degree to not… again why is this even an argument.
They lowered the job requirements to EXPAND the candidate pool.
There’s no evidence anywhere to suggest the Federal Gov’t was having trouble finding qualified applicants.
Then they made this decision based on nothing. Cool.
This is no different than the Veteran’s Preference Act which allowed for veterans to get credited for the sills learned in the military instead of in college or technical school.
This changes isn’t targeted at Veterans. It’s targeted at ALL qualified candidates that lack a degree.

I didn’t say it only targeted veterans. The VPA did the same thing specifically for Veterans.
