It's Official: US auto dealers from every automaker oppose Biden's Eco agenda. (The same one automakers are abandoning as fast as they can.)

I do as well. But unfortunately we are the tiny minority of new car buyers.

Most people buying a new car want something like a Honda Pilot or a Toyota Highlander. Not a BMW M3 or a Chevy Camaro.

Ah I got ya. I seem to remember a few models had wood panels back in the day.

I noticed there were no 2024 Camaros to be seen in the large Chevy dealers indoor showroom. 3 Corvettes, no Camaros.

You can get a model Y for 40k now.

I suspect Elon Musk will get out from under Teslalaland

So, you have no clue and just want to pretend you do. Got it. Perfect democrat…lol!

Plus the at home charger

For a max of 350 miles IF you don’t use any electrical devices such as music, lights, a/c etc.

My prediction is at least half of those who own an EV will go back to gas once the battery dies.

Nah. You can keep your slot car. I’ll stick with gas

Other way around.

I’ll hold your hand a bit.

What percentage of new cars sold are EV’s?

What happens to the price of something as volume goes up?

OK thats a clue by four that’s still gonna get missed, so to spell it out, relatively few EV’s are being made and sold compared to ICE, it’s a relatively new and still developing technology, and lower volumes and new tech spell out higher prices. Like everything else economic, as the volume grows the price comes into line.

Is all of that stuff as false as your previous posts on the topic :joy:

Chevy finance officer and salesman to me last weekā€¦ā€œNo one wants electric cars.ā€ nodding yes.

You mean you don’t need govt subsidy to lower prices in the long run because the market will take care of it, if people want the product? Wow, sounds very libertarian…

Buy a slot car and find out.

EV sales has slowed.

Also resale value after three years drop 60 percent.

Out here we’re in somewhat cold snap. Over the last few days I’ve seen 3 EV on side of road. 2 Tesla’s and 1 Rivian. They’re under estimating there range during cold spells.

That’s not the only car on the market. Not even close. The fact that, that’s your reference explains your assertion though. Thanks

No one is buying EV’s and those that do–even Democrats–go back to gas after a year or two of total hassle.

You don’t drive an EV and it shows. Before making assumptions, ask someone like me. I’ve been driving EVs for 6 years now.

Out here 90% of EV’s are tesla
