Its now illegal to disrespect the government or publish news not approve of by the government in Russia

Russia move another step clovers to Authoritarian dictatorship as they ban disrespect for the government and the publishing of news not approved of by the government.

Russia’s parliament has passed two bills outlawing “disrespect” of authorities and the spreading of what the government deems to be “fake news”.

The first ban refers to “blatant disrespect” of the state, its officials and Russian society, and repeat offenders face up to 15 days in jail.

The second bill prohibits sharing “false information of public interest, shared under the guise of fake news,” the TASS state news agency reported.

Both new crimes carry heavy fines.

Ole Putin. Turning Russia back into the new and improved USSR.

Vlad is a tyrant. It’s no better now than it was under the Soviet union. I typically don’t wish death on anybody. But…………………

Our President doesn’t have a bad thing to say about the man.

Well he did have the Marines kill 300 of Vlad’s men. What do you think about that?

Yep. But this time it’s without all of their captive states.

Vlad’s playing the long game. Like he cares about 300 Ivan’s. He’s got a ditz in the White House.

He still has large Russian populations in some of those countries. As seen in Ukraine, they can be mobilizes any time and you’ll back your buddy Trump doing nothing.

Really what has the

Really? What has the ditz given to Vlad? Did he promise to offer something after the election as Obama did?

Is Putin going to ban news media that doesn’t agree with him from asking questions at debates?

“Tell vlad I’ll be more flexible after the election.”

Oh wait, that wasn’t trump.

The ditz has created a serious rift between us an our NATO allies, Obama never did that.

I think you’re deflecting.

Hell, that was one of Putin’s goals. And our president cares more about money than our allies so he was the perfect dude for Putin to play.

He was so flexible he sanctioned the country’s economy into a recession from which it has yet to recover.

Funny that you would point to that when President Trump has said so much worse.

The Ditz demanded that NATO take a more active role in their own defense including more of their own funding. You are correct. Obama never did that.

You should definitely troll Russian political forums and tell them what they’re doing wrong.

Wow you really know nothing about this topic. Obama repeatedly urged NATO allies to increase defense spending. And Trump has repeatedly taken credit for NATO countries pledging to increase spending to the 2% minimum by 2024. Something they all agreed to in 2014. Well before Trump was president.

It doesn’t make any difference what the rationale was, Putin got one of his major desires…a wedge between the US and it’s NATO allies. Priceless. Ya, Obama never did that.
