Honestly I did not know anything about Representative Jackson’s naval career until your post so I looked into what’s out there.
Yes, Jackson retired a Rear Admiral in 2019 and became the White House physician for then President Trump.
In 2022 Secretary of the Navy (a Biden appointee) Del Toro. Busted Jackson to Captain for conduct unbecoming a Naval Officer. The suggestion was that Jackson while in the White House, drank alcohol, took “sleep aids”, made sexual advances and was abusive to staff. Jackson maintains these were old allegations that had resurfaced and were brought to Del Toro because Jackson “would not abandon Trump”.
Seems to me a lot of Trump associates wind up getting in some kind of jam, have their reputations, resources and families destroyed.
Jackson was “busted” from Rear Admiral (Lower Half) O-7 to Captain O-6. He was no longer active or Reserve and there is no information whether he had to forfeit his pension or benefits. If his rank lowered his pension would be affected.
So presently Jackson serves a US Representative for Texas. It’s been suggested he still maintains his license to practice medicine and he occasionally can be seen making medical comment on a conservative news channel.

Well according to the DoDIG, Jackson mistreated his staff among other accusations that may or may not be credible. Be realistic, accusing someone of drinking or taking Ambien?
One thing I know about the US Military with respect to retired high officers especially Generals and Admirals. You’re never really “retired”, expected to act as if you’re still in uniform and the possibility exists you could be pressed into service if needed! Mistreating subordinates is a big no no.
Politically motivated or not it cost Jackson $15,000.00/ in pension benefits.
It was political. When the Republicans go into the same practices the dems will howl. I don’t really want them to do it, but it may happen if they decide the dems did it, so it’s their turn…
What makes you think that’s what he did? Do you think it was purely by accident that one bullet hit Trump? Do you know which of his eight shots was fired first?

Nope. Mr. 20 year old whatever the ■■■■ motivated him to do what he did should have been greased the moment someone saw him squirming on the roof with his weapon but I digress. He rapped of eight rounds in succession, sounded like it anyway. One whizzed by Trump’s ear taking a piece of it. One killed a man protecting his children and two other rounds struck two other attendees. Shooter had no trigger discipline and I believe his first shot could have possibly been a head shot aimed at Trump but it just wasn’t his (Trump’s) turn, I think shooter was distracted by the LEO that shimmied up to the roof and dropped down and the other three that found their mark? Shooter fired into a crowd of people. He wasn’t a marksman. The marksman was the sniper that put him down shooting through a tree. Sniper either already had his reticle trained on the assassin or as it’s been called a “one in a million” shot.

It feels weird to admit, but I do not center all of my decisions enough on that singular question - does this help my family. Pretty hard to go wrong when that’s your only focus.

The other day all the news outlets except a few went on TV to all say the same thing, like they often do when they wany to create a narrative.
It’s…weird…to say the least…they all say almost exactly the same thing on the same day…due to the fact they all work as another arm of the Democratic Party.
So this new made up narrative is to accuse Trump & JD Vance of being “weird”…whatever that means.
It’s rich from a party and administration pushing the most crazy, insane, idiotic, and degenerate agenda ever in the history of the United States, including transing children, pedo story hour at the library, an entire month devoted to gay “pride”, when most other things are one day for Veterans, Labor, Memorial, etc.
An administration with insane DEI hires including the dumbest VP ever, cross dressers, thieves, flaming gays, etc.
