C’mon Bill, he wouldn’t have been in the position to negotiate for their release if he hadn’t been one of the masterminds of their capture.

And now the Israeli government has literally killed any possibility of negotiations on further hostage releases.

So far, the IDF has successfully found and freed zero hostages during its military campaign. Even when three hostages escaped and were waving a white flag, the IDF shot them dead.

The execution of the negotiator is just the icing on the cake.

Right, cause obviously literally nobody else is able to negotiate with this gentleman gone. :man_facepalming:

An Israeli soldier who was abducted by Hamas has been rescued in a special joint operation, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) told CNN, the first successful hostage extrication since the militant group’s October 7 rampage.

What, Max Blumenthal didn’t inform you about this ?

That possibility was killed by Hamas when they reneged during the last negotiated releases.

There is a reason why NONE of the neighboring countries agreed to admit one single refugee.
And…no Palestinian was “expelled” from Gaza so far.

Okay, I stand corrected. The IDF has apparently rescued one hostage.

The IDF killed three others that escaped and came waving a white flag. The only reason why the IDF even bothered to check their identity was that one of them had a fair complexion and did not look Palestinian. How many others has the IDF killed who passed as random Palestinians?

How many Israeli hostages have been killed by Israeli air strikes?

For comparison Hamas has released 110 hostages as part of the prisoner exchange as of December 1.

Perfect.

No, they didn’t.

Saleh al-Arouri wasn’t just a negotiator.

“He was a key figure in the Izzedine al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas’s armed wing, and a close ally of Ismail Haniyeh, the Hamas leader. He had been in Lebanon acting as a connection between his group and Hezbollah.”

If Hamas were serious about negotiations, the death of Saleh al-Arouri wouldn’t stop them.

As is always the case, you are once again out in la la land.

That’s right. I seem to recall that in your bizzarro world, Israel is the one who did all the raping and killing as a pretext to wipeout the Palestinians.

The bizarro world of evidence-free conspiracy theories is the one with Biden’s photos of beheaded babies and the Washington Post’s rape-assignment stories.

Both were forced to walk back their claims, but many true believers still act like they are true.

The current propaganda campaign has been the Iraqi-WMD and Kuwaiti-incubator hoaxes on steroids.

You mean a terrorist got a rocket dropped on top of him?

Cry me a river. Good riddance.

So, Hamas didn’t really attack Israel and kill 1,200 civilians? Is that what you are saying?

That’s ridiculous. The Israelis and Palestinians come from the same genetic stock. They look just as much alike as Russians and Ukrainians do.

Why are you ignoring the 240 Palestinians who were released in trade for those 110 (30 of whom, were not Israelis) in your comparison?

Oh, he thinks those people are dead, he just thinks that Israel was in on it and let it happen.

Even Israel has admitted that less than 700 Israeli civilians died on October 7:

The final death toll from the attack is now thought to be 695 Israeli civilians, including 36 children, as well as 373 security forces and 71 foreigners, giving a total of 1,139. This excludes five people, among them four Israelis, still listed as missing by the prime minister’s office.

The figures include civilians killed by the IDF as well as those killed by Hamas. Don’t expect any corrections to appear in US media.

Oh … Only 1139; not 1200. Well that’s okay then. This whole war is about nothing.
