Is the term "white privilege" a racial slur?

Okay thanks! Great discussion. :+1:

Oh you kid.

Racists and self-loathers use the term as often as possible.

I agree that White Fragility is racist, dismissive and condescending. Privilege is real and more predominant in White America but not exclusive to White America so, in my view, the qualifier should be dropped.

Chinese flu?

One of those terms is a lot worse than the other. You can tell because you won’t type out the other word.

That isn’t the idea. Try harder.

“I want what you have but without the work”.

Mostly because they’ve no damn clue.

“I want it and I want it NOW!”

Doesn’t work that way and never will.

I think, just admit there are people who are jealous of other’s hard work and success. Race isn’t a factor. Envy is.

When crappy people hear they have to work for what they get:

This thread shows that some people have no idea what “white privilege” means. “White privilege” doesn’t mean white people were “given” anything. These false premise threads are a dime a dozen.

It doesn’t “mean” ■■■■ .

White privilege implies an advantage. What’s an advantage if it’s not given?

If all white people were conspiring for the benefit of all other white people against all other people, there might be a “white privilege” or “majority privilege”.
They arent.
There isn’t.

It doesn’t have to be a conspiracy. It’s natural order.
