Surely the Dems will downplay the significance of how Trump will be likely crushing Joe this week in the all important television/cable viewership of their respective acceptance speeches.
P.S. Also keep in mind, with Biden last Thursday had just 22 million tv viewers tuned in last week, so the proverbial bar for Trump to topple in ratings is already set extremely low.
Older teevee watchers who watch a reality show grifter on the teevee might continue to watch that grifter’s ego parade on the teevee?
Trump will speak to his base that has not increased in the 4 years. He thinks that the position of president of the USA has the same gravitas as a reality tv programme participant.
Trump may have a fascination with tv ratings. However, to call that criterion as superficial would be to give it far more import than it deserves.
Where is your proof? Your opinion is also not apparent according to TV ratings.
P.S. Bush - 43 surged 25% on the black vote garnered in 2004, no reason to believe that Trump will not yield a (significant) gain too in November.
