I’m done…specially if you think I’m this stupid.
The CDC cannot stop them from testing patients if they have the test kits on hand.
I don’t think you’re stupid, I think you are an emotional wreck worrying about your family and friends and perhaps don’t really understand all the working parts here.
That was over a week ago. And the patient was subsequently tested. What point are you trying to make?
We’re done W.
How am I wrong? Did the hospital have the test kits on hand?
Then, not now.
If the hospital has the kits on hand the CDC cannot stop them from using them when they feel it’s appropriate.
They can issue recommended protocols but that’s about it.
That the CDC is failing so far, not a good grade.
It’s comical to argue that the CDC is somehow not messing up because a hospital did not defy the CDCs refusal to test. What kind of bizarre argument is that?
I heard repeatedly how the U.S. would handle an outbreak better than any other country. Well, that has been false so far, they seem to be unprepared and playing catch up. Disappointing.
And before those two died, the kill ratio was zero. Eight cases is not enough to know what the mortality rate is, particularly when the cases are in a nursing home for sick elderly people.
Yes … and a meaningless statistic.
Really? Do you mean like Italy and Iran?
It’s kind of funny in a sad way that so many people don’t seem to understand that with a brand new emerging virus recommended protocols are going to change.
Like what?
Don’t set the bar too high. South Korea is a notable example.
I agree. In the mean time it’s best to not light your hair on fire.
Really? What is the current number of confirmed cases and deaths in S. Korea?
Without a credible source, your statement is just an unverifiable opinion.
Now you are just making things up.
OK Samm.
