In 15 years of facilitating interviews I have never come across anyone with face tattoos yet alone swastikas. Talk about trying to come up with an extreme example.

I was addressing the claim that people shouldn’t be attention seekers, not necessarily the hair.
I don’t think dying our hair purple - or black, or blond, or grey - is necessarily an effort to seek attention.
You sound old.

Not always. Some people dye their hair because they think it makes them look better.
Again, it depends what the job is.
A bank teller or walmart greeter? Maybe tattoos and green hair is problem.
Coder or paper hanger? Not so much.
