Were you intending to respond to someone else as this post doesnāt relate to anything Iāve said. Although regarding examples of this phenomenon I would put Trump and Obama as the two most penultimate of what Iām talking about.

Athletes are clearly not āaverageā or āordinaryā people in that specific arena. Now in the arena of entertainment and media thereās definitely more debate but I would argue thereās varying degrees of talent needed. Although with social media I wouldnāt argue that as much.

You mention human behavior-we have a strong tendency to judge the new person on his first day to somebody we like on their last day. We conveniently forget what our hero was like on his first day.
