Is China eating our lunch?

It wasn’t all that long ago Biden said come on man.

“China is going to eat our lunch? Come on, man — They can’t even figure out how to deal with the fact that they have this great division between the China Sea and the mountains in the West. They can’t figure out how they’re going to deal with the corruption that exists within the system. They’re not bad folks, folks … They’re not competition for us.”

Well it seems China in Aug launched a nuclear capable hyper sonic glider that circled the globe leaving our military planers dumb founded.

Meanwhile our military planers are more concern about being woke.

I’ve been saying for years that we need to take the PLA more seriously.

They’re getting better every day. Better training, better selection of personnel, their indigenous development capability has skyrocketed in the past twenty years. Their area denial capabilities are nothing to scoff at. In a war in their backyard, they’d be the most challenging opponent the US has fought since… funny enough, the PLA in the Korean War. They could actually fight the US to a stalemate. Can’t say that about anyone else without nuclear weapons being involved.

Oh, the days of the America at War category. Hypersonic tech has been their priority for well over a decade at this point.

Welcome to the new cold war.

Cho Xiden is handing out US citizens’ lunches to the CCP. But they are paying Cho and his family well for them.

They have spies and tech theives in every world university.

They usurped global manufacturing.

They have a surplus of the most vital commodity… people. The US continues to embrace policy diminishing births.

A branch of military focused on space would be a good idea…we could call it Space Force.

China is allowed to manufacture goods and pollute the world at sickening levels, where here in the US, those factories are held to pollution standards that in producing them, is much more expensive. Then OUR GOVERNMENT allows those goods to be sold here, killing our manufacturing. If China is eating our lunch, our government is their errand boy.

You bet. The Trump tariffs we’re the first rebuke in decades.

Then we get the virus…Hmmm.

Coincidence? Maybe.

I think more tariffs might flush the truth and ease up the CA port clogs.

Don’t forget…we sent the virus to them through Fauci, along with a check for millions. What’s our government doing about that now that this pandemic has occurred that he helped create? Oh yeah…they pay him more than any other government employee.

Very clever of China to get US dollars and dirty hands.

It was too easy for them and low risk. They also had WHO in pocket.

Taiwan blew the alarm.

What is happening to them now?

…there’s a serious semi-conductor problem going on in the world?

TSMC leads the manufacturing of semiconductors in the world, as it dominates 28% of the market, which has made it the eleventh most valuable company in the world

Democrat Senators Chris Coons and Scott Peters introduced a border carbon tax on imported goods.

No one liked it.

You should call your representatives and sat that they should support such a thing.

This New York post article is really bad. Even by their standards.

Reporter was either born yesterday or Rupert told him to act like it.

pretty dumb idea to aim at all incoming trade when your target is one country

If the goal is put the rest of the world on even footing with environmental restrictions put on domestic manufacturing it isn’t.

not the goal, just one part of the china problem. one thats irrelevant to the real problem. weakening india as well as china won’t help.

I thought the goal was to help domestic manufacturing.

the goal is to decouple from china. improving domestic manufacturing would be a great side effect of that, but to really improve it, we need a complete revision of the tax code.
