I’m confused. She says the stimulus caused inflation, but was for the stimulus checks? Shouldn’t she have seen inflation coming before they gave away free money and then try to stop them? What good is pointing out the obvious now that anyone can see it?

Thoufh that jingling money didn’t appear out of nowhere. Stimmies were a part of it. Not going out not shopping was part of it.

So why did she hide her opinion if she thought checks would cause too much inflation? The whole point of a stimulus check is to spend it and help the economy! Not to keep in in the bank.
