How could there be a catastrophe? I was assured by a Conservative poster on this very board that no countries worry about/ or are no longer at risk of any outbreaks of Covid.

India shows what the strategy like what Dr Atlas was advocating of letting it rip through the population to achieve herd immunity looks like.

The best thing that can happen to the planet is to remove Trump and all his idiotic yes men. USA would look like India right now if that buffoon was re-elected.

Had Trump been re-elected, we would have 250 million or so shots administered with about 1/3 of the county fully vaccinated. It’s the States doing the vaccinations, not the Feds.

@altair1013 , what is AZs track record against this current variant running thru India. I heard Thursday only 2 to 3 percent of Indians have been vaccinated. At this point at 300,000 to 400,000 cases a day, aren’t they on their way to natural heard immunity anyway

Yep, and this virus, if left unchecked, is a Godsend to that agenda. However, it took more than three years for the Spanish Flu to work its way through the global population killing roughly 50 million people … about 3% of the population. That translates to about 230 million people today. So whichever way this is handled on the way to herd immunity, it will never kill enough people to satisfy their goals.
