In 2019 Trump was going to win big in 2020, but

Ford served a full term legally. He could only therefore run for one additional term.

Presidential term is 4 years. Ford did not serve 4 years.

Therefore, he served 0 terms.

In which year did the EC elect him as president of the USA?

You don’t seem to understand presidential eligibility law.

He served over two years so legally he was only eligible for one more because it was over half the term.

Any other issues I can help you with today?

Never, he was appointed to both VP and POTUS due to vacancies.

How long did Gerald Ford serve?

  • Answer and Explanation: Gerald Ford served as President for 895 days , or about two years and five months , between August 9, 1974 and January 20, 1977.

What’s even funnier is people using words they don’t know the meaning of.

From Article 2 of the Constitution:

The executive power shall be vested in a President of the United States of America. He shall hold his office during the term of four years, and, together with the Vice President, chosen for the same term, be elected, as follows:"

4 years as a term. Anything less, according to your “definition” earlier in this thread, means they did not serve that term.

Since Ford did not serve 4 years, he did not complete a term.

The polling between Gore and Bush was always tight.

Trump’s win, while unexpected was not wholly shocking due to the fact that he was being given a 1 in 4 to 1 in 3 chance to win.

The Dems dominated the 2018 polling wire to wire…plus one race can easily be upended with incomplete/inaccurate polling data. 435 not so much.

It was known- there was zero chance for an upset…you were wrong because you were being partisan.

No it isn’t. Not according to eligibility law and I never said any such thing.

From 90-30 Thirty days out Hillary was sitll leading in most of the polls and projected to win. Only 538 had it right and that was a shocker.

Trump only won the EC, not the popular vote which he lost and he only managed to squeak out that win with a handful of votes in purple and blue states Hillary ignored.

He played for the Electoral win by campaigning hard in states she all but ignored or ignored totally and barely pulled it out.

Elected to and serving are two completely different things.

If you can’t understand that I can’t help you any further.

He gets 2 hours a day to talk directly to the American people. He is drawing better than Monday Night Football and The Bachelor finale! Since he started doing that his approval rating has dropped.

They are not independent events.

How many terms did he get elected to?

He actually gets less than half that time while Pence and the team get the rest.

Of course, he gets 24 hours of 99.9% negative press whether he speaks or not.

It’s ok, once we get into a good recovery and we get nowhere close to 100k deaths much less hundreds of thousands or millions most people will figure it out.

kinda like clinton taking credit for everything newt did.

Newt thought he was a bad ass with his stupid “Contract With America”. He was nothing more than hot air. And Clinton smacked him silly.
