What possible double standard could there be when it comes to an impeachment inquiry and trial for a President? Will you compare it to Bill Clinton or Andrew Johnson? I’m curious here.
I suppose this doesn’t either…Above the law and all…
EXCLUSIVE: A photo obtained by Fox News’ “Tucker Carlson Tonight” shows former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter golfing in the Hamptons with Devon Archer, who served on the board of the Ukrainian natural gas company Burisma Holdings with Hunter.
Earlier this month, Joe Biden told Fox News in Iowa that he never discussed his son’s foreign business dealings with him.
“I have never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings,” Biden said, pointing the finger at President Trump. “I know Trump deserves to be investigated. He is violating every basic norm of a president. You should be asking him why is he on the phone with a foreign leader, trying to intimidate a foreign leader. You should be looking at Trump.”
Hunter Biden told The New Yorker previously that he and his father had spoken “just once” about his work in Ukraine.
It has EVERYTHING to do with the narrative…err…charges.
There is a 1999 treaty that Trump had to honor. It’s just the law and we are not really close enough to an election to cry political…maybe after Novemeber 2019.
Trump is attempting to drain the swamp. It is clear that there are not only corrupt Democrats in office, but also there will be Republicans who have corruptly played the system for personal gain. It is not beyond the bounds that Dems plus corrupt Reps provide sufficient numbers to impeach and halt Trump’s progress in exposing the swamp. Also, the Democrats in the permanent bureaucracy may well have dirt on enough Reps to blackmail them into voting to impeach.
On whatever Articles of Impeachment that might be possibly brought forth following a House investigation and officially passed and then forwarded to the Senate.
We don’t know yet if any Articles of Impeachment will be passed in the House and sent to the Senate
I am not able to see into the future, but I do appreciate you obviously thinking I can.
The only legal thing that we ordinary Americans can do, outside of keep pressure on our elected representatives to do their job as required under their oaths of office.
Yes, you can write, call, email and visit representatives in person and tell them what you will do if they fail to uphold the constitutional rights of Americans, including of the President. If they only hear from the odd squad sods they will assume those views predominate among electors.
It is completely irrelevant and a deflection from the discussion at hand. Feel free to create a hypothetical thread where this has happened, and people can opine about what they think would hypothetically occur.
No it does not. It is a furtherance of a debunked conspiracy theory that is designed to deflect from the very real, potentially criminal actions of the President.
